Restaurant/Places to Eat in Native Manchester

We stayed for my friends birthday, staff were so friendly, Extreamily helpful. Recommended restaurants and bars to us, bar staff were the friendliest people I have ever met. So lovely! I loved every second of our stay. The rooms were stunning. SO spacious, furniture was high quality decor was beautiful. Bathrooms were spotless. And I had the bed nights sleep I’ve ever had at a hotel/apartments. I WILL be recommending the native to anyone staying in Manchester and I WILL be returning. Thank you for making my friends birthday even more special with your warmest welcome xxx

A wonderful loft room on the 6th floor with high ceilings that was spotlessly clean, very spacious, and light and airy. And the amazing staff: fantastic assistance of Jess on reception for numerous local recommendations (as this was our first trip to Manchester) and making sure our room was perfect, Mia helping us make wonderful memories with her photo skills and support on last minute requests, Ines at the restaurant making sure our breakfast was just right (compliments to the chefs), Mahdi (and Felix) on security providing a warm welcome on our late night returns, and all the bar staff (including Grieve) for mixing brilliant drinks and being incredibly helpful. The location is also great, being very close to Manchester Piccadilly Station, and a reasonable walk from most places of interest such as the bars and restaurants of the Northern Quarter. Also the downstairs lounge area with regular live djs is a great place to enjoy before going out, and if your incredibly lucky you may also be entertained by the resident dancers! Given all the features available onsite and the quality of the rooms themselves, Native Manchester was worth every penny and we will be back!

We love the room we were in. The bathroom was great, love a walk-in shower. The taps were located on the other side of the shower which is great for adjusting the temperature of the water without getting burn.

Balcony/Terrace, Restaurant/Places to Eat in Native Manchester

Very funky place to stay in the heart of Manchester, a stone throw from Piccadilly station. The Premium studio was great, lovely decor and equipped with everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The staff were very friendly and always happy to help. We were given a free upgrade on check-in to a one bedroom apartment, but we decided to down grade to our original booking of the premium studio as the space is a lot more open. Thanks for a wonderful stay! We will be back.

Loved the vibe, the location was great, the receptionist when I arrived was really friendly as was another staff member I met in the lift. The toiletries in the bathroom were gorgeous smelling, I almost had an extra shower just to use them again! The vegan breakfast was fantastic, definitely one of the top 2 vegan/veggie breakfasts I've had and hands down the best hash brown I've ever eaten. The restaurant staff were lovely too.

Facade/entrance in Native Manchester

Excellent location, right next to Piccadilly station in a unique and character-loaded building. Huge, well-appointed studio rooms with character, a great blend of modern with a nod to the heritage of the building. Lovely helpful and chatty staff, Great food options, mini-cinema, gym (didn't use it), free brekkie in a bag to get you going in the morning and great DJ in the bar/restaurant on weekends brings a chilled vibe during the day. If you are staying in Manchester City Center for a few days Id make it your number one option.

I love this place!!! I am in Manchester frequently for work for extended stays and have stayed in many of the popular apart-hotels in the city. This is my favorite and my go-to from now on. The rooms are extremely comfortable, decorated in a contemporary style, and have everything you would need — including LAUNDRY IN UNIT! I had plenty of room to relax, work, even do a little quiet workout in my room. Had a cool view of the NQ, Ancoats and the canal and the geese from my room. The building is very cool, as an updated mill, very Manchester. The downstairs is a whole lively vibe with people coworking, good music, lots of comfy space and nice snacks and food. There are some DJ and trivia nights and brunches if that’s your thing, BUT, I never heard any noise in my room ever (fourth floor). The gym downstairs, BLOK, is amazing for yoga, strength training, and Pilates classes. I had come here on my own for workouts on my previous stay and it was really nice to have just downstairs. (You have to pay to book but hotel guests get a steep discount and they’re also on Classpass.) I ate in the full-service restaurant one night and the staff were sooo lovely to me and my senior father. On that note, the facilities are super accessible with lifts, etc for older folks, those with disabilities, and kids. Forgot - there’s a bagged breakfast daily with porridge, pastries, fruit, milk, juice. Can’t beat the location either. If you arrive by train to Piccadilly it’s literally around the corner, less than a five minute walk. Almost everything you’d want to do in the Manchester city centre is a walk away or at most a brief cab/Uber ride. Tons of cool restaurants and bars are in the area in the northern quarter. Really don’t have any complaints here at all for an extended stay — in fact I remembered to leave this review as I’ve already booked another stay and will be returning in a few days. I will keep this as my “home” base in Manchester for sure!

The Dulcie Street Warehouse Lounge below was really cool, I didn't expect the Hotel Reception to be nested inside a social area but it was really pleasant. We arrived early so we were able to sit and have a drink from the bar before checking in. The Breakfast the day after was also excellent. The room was spacious, had great lighting and great privacy. We were both very happy with how well we slept and wished that we could've stayed longer. The Staff were excellent, super friendly, willing to help and very accommodating. We asked if we could leave our bags behind after checking out as we had a few more things to do in the city before we left and they were more than happy to help. As a bonus, I met Gok Wan, which was pretty damn cool :)
