The building is fantastic! A typical old red break factory/warehouse building, presumably from Manchester's industrial heyday that as I understand it, went into decay for many years. What the developers have done with this building is remarkable, keeping the best of the old and combining it with a modern, comfortable interior. The central space where the rooms are is a truly liminal space that's great for taking photos! The room was very comfortable, and had the same cool red brick/powder blue-painted metal support structure vibe of the building combined with modern furnishings. Bed is really big, which I appreciated as I don't think I'd slept in one that big before. Because it's a hotel, I didn't expect the food and drinks to be as good as they are because hotels typically have a captive audience who will buy the food because it's convenient. However, I was extremely impressed with the coffee and breakfast served - truly fresh and delicious! The first morning I took it up to the room and the second I sat in the restaurant, which was well-attended by the staff. It's just a shame I wasn't staying for longer to try everything on the breakfast menu :) Everyone at the hotel was friendly, it has a cool vibe, it's by the canal which is nice, and the location is very central. I would not hesitate to stay here again if I'm ever in Manchester. I could easily stay here for days or weeks, highly recommended!

Everything. I was in Room 616 on the 6th floor, a 1 bedroom apartment. The apartment was spacious yet extremely comfortable and cosy. There was only one window that opened but it provided ample fresh air into the space. The bed was firm but with a mattress topper was very comfortable...and I'm very picky about hotel beds. I really liked having a ceiling fan which helped circulate the air within the bedroom. The bathroom was superb too, with a lovely hot shower with good water pressure, lovely complimentary toiletries, a heated towel rack, fluffy towels. I ordered a Ducie breakfast on one of the morning which was amazing and cooked to perfection. The only thing I would have liked is a glass of freshly squeeze OJ with my meal but it was reasonably priced for the quality. Even the bacon came out crispy. I really enjoyed the soft lighting throughout, which made the apartment very cosy and warm but with plenty of light in the bathroom for shaving/makeup etc. This is definitely worth a repeat visit and is now my goto apartment hotel for future visits to Manchester.

Unbelievable apartment with beautiful views, more than a hotel, incredible luxury! Staff were lovely, kind and incredibly accommodating! Dead centre and felt like it was close to everything, a short walk from everything we wanted. We were offered an upgrade to the penthouse which was incredible! Honestly we were sad to leave and I don’t think I’ll stay anywhere else when I visit Manchester from now on! Will be recommending to all my clients, family and friends! Downstairs in the lobby had such a great atmosphere during the day it seems to be a very popular area for working, meeting with clients and friends, or a great place to eat! At night it’s almost like it becomes a perfect place for classy drinks, a great restaurant and an amazing place to spend your evenings with music and friends Just unbelievable

What a lovely stay! The hotel is situated in a refurbished warehouse, which means lots of space and original design - this much we knew from the information we found online before booking. What we only found out at the spot was how convenient the location was (very close to one of the main Manchester train stations, within easy walking distance to a lot of the city sights and with plentiful communication links to the ones more further away) and how nice the people working there will turn out to be. A special shout out to the stubbled gentleman that worked the breakfast shift - he was exceptional.

Loved the space and design. Spotlessly clean. Excellent location for accessing the city centre. Parking beneath was convenient. Someone is clearly passionate about making an innovative space that supports independent business and venture. The welcome was unfortunately not very warm and there was an issue finding our booking. The key card stopped working after one night but this was solved by staff really quickly. The noise from outside was loud throughout the night. Aircon would have been great so we didn't have to keep the window open. There was no coffee machine as advertised.
